I’m originally from the Puget Sound in Washington state but can often be heard referring to Pullman, Washington as home. GO COUGS!
With 2 BAs in the humanities, and an MA in Public Relations, I like to think of myself as a “professional people-person,” who looks forward to silence at the end of a long day.
After nearly 15 years of chasing degrees and fancy company titles, I realized that the one thing I wanted to do professionally for the rest of my life was simply research.
It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize that I didn’t need to be enrolled in school just to have an excuse to study a topic.
Even more importantly…. I could actually ask other people to pay me to do research for them!
Where to Next Relocation Consulting comes from my passion for research and my never settled craving for adventure and change.
I spent about 2 years annoying my husband with research on states all over the US – telling him I wanted out of Washington time and time again.
We weren’t in a position to move out of state just yet, but I dove head first into research to keep both my head and my heart busy with dreams of our next adventure.
As time went on I thought, “Why am I not utilizing this time and learned skillset to help other people chase their dreams while I wait for the chance to chase mine?”
And that was it – the beginning of my beautiful small business.
